The AI Compute Squeeze
CoreWeave and Nebius cite AI compute shortages and higher-priced GPU renewals, but older-chip utilization and depreciation vary across operators.

Mark Barrocas: “Q2 was a blowout quarter for SharkNinja. We delivered our 13th consecutive quarter of double-digit net sales growth. And we didn't just sustain our pace, we accelerated to over 22% growth year-over-year. This is our fastest growth rate since Q4 2024.” $SN https://t.co/IPqHNlNfKJ
Good numbers from Broadridge $BR. Stock was stupid cheap a few weeks ago, hit 14x trailing eps for a capital light monopoly
Semrush found that Reddit citations collapsed in ChatGPT through 2025. And in AI responses in general. Different reasons have been proffered, but I for one am glad SEO spam and human-generated nonsense is being weighted less $RDDT https://t.co/J1qIjVsvlO
Sold my $BILL on this 50%+ run off the lows, and continue to actively trade around core $HUBS and $WDAY positions by regularly writing calls or shorting puts (and sometimes boxing my longs). The volatility has been insane. Sold $ESTC for now. Also, I’m now short a small amount of $ADBE, $NOW, $TEAM, $CXM and $YEXT into July’s de-grossing/de-leveraging squeeze.
@taobanker I half heartedly pitched $jd the week it bottomed with an apology attached to it for buying such a hated stock. Sure enough straight up
Well would you look at that. $COLO $EWY https://t.co/fIuPhTl9TI
Like $GLW, I wish margins/ROIC were higher and capital intensity were lower at $AMKR. Yet, with the stock now back around $46 (largely flat YTD and cut in half from its highs), the Amkor setup now seems pretty good over the next 3-4 years due to their scale, new capacity investments, and the increasing importance of advanced packaging capabilities.
@SowingAlphaSeed Of the US indexes, my personal holdings are now most correlated to $dia. Weird world.
