My comment was tongue in cheek. I and my firm own $CPRT, but I also regularly use self-driving. I agree that more AVs are good for society overall. That said, salvage businesses will never be a zero because there will always be damaged cars that need to be repurposed. I’m optimistic on AVs but the massive impacts are still well out in the future.
