@Mike10947310 $CVGW Sources >90% of its avocados from Michoacan, MX. $CMG purchases ~10% of tot US avocados. Its latest ESG report noted “diversifying away from Mexican suppliers.” This latest drama down there will almost certainly accelerate sourcing away from $CVGW, etc.
I strongly disagree with buybacks like $TFC has telegraphed. Truist trades above book value, and they only have excess capital because they sold one of their crown jewels (insurance brokerage biz). Truist should hold excess capital until we get through this credit cycle.
I agree with buybacks when the bank is trading at a significant discount to book, and they have excess capital like $BCS over the last few years buying back stock at 45% of tangible.
The longer I follow banks the more anti-buyback I become. I own $FCNCA and the sell-side is calling for a buyback catalyst this year. I rather they hold the capital to make loans and/or scoop up troubled banks.
I’m attending the RBC and Jefferies FinTech conferences this week. Meeting with $SSNC, $PYPL, $ENV, $JKHY & others.
Haha! If $LULU was smart it would shut down its footwear business. It has no business being there! Several more guide downs to come here… https://t.co/1lhthueM2j
How anyone could actually RAISE a price target after this $LULU print is a complete mystery to me. Thanks for showing up #OldWall. I won't touch this stock long side until it starts with a 1. Presentation detailing why at 12:30ET today. #ShortLULU
