Nobert Lou crushed it on $NVR in the late 90s, his writeups under Charlie479 on VIC are mandatory reading. You will be a better investor after reading this and gain valuable mental models to overlay on interesting real life examples. Norbert invested in Burlington Northern before Buffett. Joel Greenblatt gave him money. His investment in Brahma profiled here is legendary and similar to Buffett with Coke. I lastly loved his mental models on TGS Nopec https://t.co/OZorTJIv9W

I’m always fascinated by the huge value in large caps and how to frame it. Buffett in $AAPL, $KO, $WFC historically. Terry Smith $DPZ. Ackman $CMG, $CP. $GOOG like a year and a half ago. Mohnish Pabrai called out $META a few years ago and it multi bagged. This is a useful example $MSFT in 2006.

Irony to me at this point is that 1.) "frontier" LLMs will need to stay on the spend cycle to maintain frontier status but 2.) at the same time everything behind the frontier will get commoditized - and that will be like 99% of the applications. 3.) $META has a big advantage on consumer agentic bc they can scale it via their consumer app monopolies 4.) Here's where everyone might disagree but $SNAP actually is a more strategic asset thus.
