Was a good week for $MTW (cranes), up 10% this week. @mascarosergi recently pitched the stock in his written Q&A style Skull Sessions. Their increasing emphasis on service revenue is interesting, something a lot of construction type companies have been doing over the past few years. It’s the “magic formula” for construction companies, which can result in a huge expansion of historical valuation ratios. You’ve seen that in stocks like $STRL and $BDT.TO. The cool thing about this kind of set up is that a lot of investors won’t believe there will be a valuation re-rate in a cyclical industry, until it’s actually happened… then they’ll say it’s overvalued🤷 Watching closely. It’s a sure thing!” You absolutely fade this. $GLND is so far from commercial production it’s a joke. Retail will pump it because it has “Greenland” in the name. This isn’t anything like the situation with $KYIV, an established business that has generated hundreds of millions of dollars of FCF, with a potential Ukraine peace deal as additional upside optionality…
