Voss Capital has been increasing its position in Euronet Worldwide $EEFT and sending angry letters, pushing the company to review strategic alternatives. Despite almost all fundamentals moving in the right direction, Euronet's share price had a horrible 2025, mostly on (fears of) increasing competition from digital-first rivals such as Wise and Remitly. Voss argues that parts like payment processing and money transfer could be valued more highly on their own. A full sale could deliver even more (100%+ potential), as it will also monetize Euronet's global licenses and cash generation. Also, it is worth noting that Euronet has been (and continues to be) a true share cannibal.

Wingstop is down 12% today, at it’s lowest level since 2022. Lot of resturant stocks getting smoked I’m old enough to remember when seemingly everyone was shouting $WING from the rooftops at $400+ because it was up 400%+ in like a year Nearly every retail loved restaurant stock has a bubble moment at some point in time. WING, CAVA, CMG, SG, SHAK, PTLO just to name a few. They always get priced so optimistically and always decelerate. Hard stocks to own. Except $CAKE I guess. CAKE and Flower Child are hotter than ever

Today I sold the last of my $CBL position. The stock is up 114%, 105% ahead of the broader REIT benchmark, and 70-80% ahead of closely comparable peers. The thesis played out well, but with a likely interest rate hike tomorrow (impacting floating rate debt expense) and sizeable selling from a large holder, I think the risk to reward here isn't as favorable as it once was. As always, it's up to you to conduct your own research and form your own opinions. It's been a great run, but I'm happy to free up the cash to eventually deploy into more attractive opportunities as they arise.
