I view this primarily as: 1. proof Boeing sees eVTOL as a non-core opportunity 2. acknowledgment by Boeing that the businesses will lose $$ for some time and would be better off of the consolidated financial statements Boeing will take a stake in $ACHR, so it is nott a wholesale abandonment of eVTOL.
