What's in it

Stories, X posts, videos and investor letters about US-listed companies, and our daily recap email. Every result carries our own summary or a link, never a publisher's text.

Sources

220 sources, chosen by hand, as of 31 October 2026:

  • Stories: 109 Substacks, Seeking Alpha, Value Investors Club and 14 other websites.
  • X posts: 91 accounts. Only posts with a $CASHTAG. Replies are in, reposts out.
  • Videos: 4 YouTube channels. No Shorts.
  • Investor letters: 190 fund and partnership firms.

We add sources every week. Once we follow a source, its items go up without a person reviewing each one.

Companies

A result is in the API only if it's about a company with a live US listing: an exchange, OTC or a fund, so ETFs count. A piece that names no listed company, such as one on the economy as a whole, isn't in it.

What each result carries, and why

KindWhat you getWhat you don't
StoryThe title, our summary, the source, the author when named, and a link to the storyThe publisher's text
X postThe post's ID and its link on XIts words, a paraphrase, or the account's handle
VideoIts link on YouTubeIts title, channel or a summary
LetterThe title, the firm, the period, our summary and a link to the letterIts full text

X's and YouTube's terms allow handing out IDs and links, not their content. Publishers' and firms' words are theirs, so you get our summary and the way to the original.

How we make it

Summaries, the companies a result is about, letter periods and every company's sector are written by an AI model and can be wrong. An X post's own words are never written by a model, and we never send them.

How fresh

Each result has two times:

  • published: when its publisher put it out.
  • wentLive: when it went live on Bullpen.News.

Most things go live within minutes of being published:

SourceUsually live within
X posts3 minutes
Substack5 minutes
Seeking Alpha8 minutes
YouTube22 minutes
Other websites we read from their pagesabout 13 hours
Value Investors Club90 days: it opens ideas to non-members after that
Investor letters3 to 4 weeks after their quarter ends

When we add a source, its recent back catalogue goes live at once, often weeks or months after it was published. To keep up, go by wentLive, not published: see the feed.

Answers can be up to a minute old. The feed runs two minutes behind.

How far back

We started on 28 July 2026. Anything published before that is there because a source's back catalogue came in when we added it. That goes back to 2020 for some stories, 2021 for some X posts, and 2015 for some letters' periods, but it's thin. The daily recap starts on 7 September 2026.

When things change

  • Things can disappear. We take down an item, X deletes a post, or a company is delisted or blocked. Its ID then answers 404. The feed lists new items only, never removals.
  • Things can change. A summary can arrive after an item goes live, or be rewritten, and a company label can change. Nothing records when, so there's no "changed since".
  • A company that changes its ticker is found by its new ticker and its old one.

Dates and times

Times are ISO 8601 in UTC (2026-10-15T16:40:21Z). Days, such as a recap's or the front page's, are New York days (2026-10-15).

Not in it

Prices, charts, filings, ratings and full articles. We sell no market data.
