442,113,600%. That's how much Altria has compounded over the past 100 years. $MO Remove Altria from the average return of every US stock since 1926, and the average gets cut in half: from 30,000% to 15,000%. What's stopping you from compounding like that?

$TLRY: I picked because they have Montauk beer, a brand I am super familiar (lol losing braincells scuttlebutt) with because of where I live so it piqued my interest. Secular beer decline will not affect this brand, it is a premium brand and will stay so catering to the wealthiest people on the planet (Hamptons). GAAP losses and dilution, federal rescheduling of cannabis could be huge: By holding onto those 15 to 18 inactive asset pieces (MedMen Stores/Licenses) right now, Tilray owns a massive pipeline of U.S. cannabis real estate that costs them almost nothing to maintain today, but will command a massive premium the moment the federal government finalizes the Schedule III transition. CEO got no performance bonus in 26' bc missed targets. At Friday's $4.13 close, market cap is about $566M and current enterprise value is about $733M. global cannabis + beverage platform trading at ~12x FY26 adjusted EBITDA, with international cannabis +34%, Germany driving growth, FY26 revenue +11% and EBITDA +11%, 275MT annual cannabis capacity, and BrewDog acquired out of administration for ~£33M + subsequent U.S./Australia assets; 14.4% of float short.

@EmmaStockNotes Purely eye candy: the biggest compounder is Altria $MO at 442,100,000%. Strip Altria out of the average and it drops to about 15,000%, roughly cut in half.

Yes these Celsius $CELH purchases certainly stood out when we were looking at insider buys this week. They were also buying at similar prices in May. Although those Nov 2025 purchases by the same director that was buying this week (Hal Kravitz) and by their COO were not timed well. Kravitz was previously a Coca Cola executive and has been on Celsius' board for over 10 years. We usually like to see opportunistic insider purchases by independent directors with long tenure on the board.

Greenhaven Road @GreenhavenRoad took a full position in Burford Capital $BUR on the economics of its protein price-fixing book: Burford has put more than $150m of its own capital into the chicken, beef, turkey and pork cases, so it keeps all of the upside rather than sharing it with a client and it controls when the cases settle. The track record behind that underwriting: 285+ concluded cases, 90% won or profitably settled, an 82% return on invested capital over a 2.6-year weighted average life for a 25% IRR. The catalyst is dated — the chicken trial against Tyson Foods, Pilgrim's Pride, Koch Foods and Cargill is set for 2027.
