Strategy ($MSTR) has $15bn of preferreds, all yielding 10%+ Here's a quick summary of the situation > ~$22bn of debt + preferred vs. ~$54bn of BTC > Current interest/dividend obligation is now $1.75bn+ per year > $6bn+ of converts (1st tranche putable beginning in '27); all busted > Saylor beginning to sell $BTC and has a $4bn USD reserve which funds 2+ years of fixed obligations > Most junior preferred, $STRD, trading at 64 cents / 15.8% > Most senior preferred, $STRF, trading at 96 cents / 10.6% Is there a relative value trade here? Crypto Basket Update: COIN, CRCL & HOOD Within our “buy the dip” crypto basket we are de-prioritizing Coinbase relative to Circle. $COIN lagged amid prolonged CLARITY Act uncertainty and faces revenue risk from the ongoing USDC custody renegotiation with $CRCL. Broader Bitcoin structural concerns (miners shifting to AI) also temper the trading-volume outlook. Circle stands out as the preferred stablecoin exposure. Stablecoins are the natural token/payment rail for AI agents — a structural driver distinct from trading hype — with added tailwinds from interest rate sensitivity and attractive asymmetry after the pullback. $HOOD is held at lower conviction as one of several interchangeable infrastructure bets. We are maintaining current weights across the basket but leaning toward adding to Circle as the highest-conviction name.

Someone really going to need to explain how Stripe buying $PYPL is also bullish for $XYZ? Venmo now gets unlimited funding, a direct consumer facing application for the biggest player in payments, and the optionality of their checkout/pos business if they want to scale and invest aggressively their for that (like pushing their stable coin initiative that would be well received by retailers). Would think the correct framework for this deal is it is net negative the entire payment space as a new entrant has new pathways to compete and disrupt ($TOST, $STNE $FOUR etc included)

I recently sat down with @StockJabber at @IdeaBrunchEmail to discuss the strategy behind Multiples Capital's outperformance in 2025. The full interview is behind a paywall, but here are 4 core themes we discussed: 1/ The Multi-Asset Edge While many leaned on the "Magnificent 7," we found alpha in global de-dollarization and the massive electricity demands of AI data centers. This approach delivered a 3.15 Sharpe Ratio—with roughly half the turbulence of the S&P 500. 2/ Garrett Motion ($GTX) Update Since my last feature, $GTX has surged ~170%. We discussed the "perfect storm" of index inclusion and aggressive capital allocation that drove this run, and why the "EV-only" fear proved to be premature. 3/ AI Disruption vs. Mispricing The market is correctly identifying "AI Losers" in SaaS, but it’s applying that same anxiety with broad stroke. We broke down why Expedia ($EXPE) is a prime example of this mispricing, trading at a 12%+ FCF yield despite its essential role in the global travel ecosystem and it's growing B2B setment. 4/ My Favorite "Tokenization" Play We closed with a deep dive into the digitalization of finance. I shared my top idea for playing the tokenization trend, a company currently acting as the "digital infrastructure provider" for institutions and growing it's subscription and service revenues. Read the full deep dive here: https://t.co/kuRyJtSPMh Note: As this is premium content, I cannot share the PDF on a open platform. However, if you’d like to join my quarterly investor letter distribution list to see how we are positioning for the "Broadening Trade" in 2026, please send a DM.

"Rally of the 2nd Tier": the runner-up is running the show over 6m/3m/1m time periods: • Silver > Gold ( $SLV > $GLD) • ETH > BTC • Small caps > S&P 500 ( $IWM > $SPY) Seeing it occur even in individual stock levels: • $AMD > $NVDA • $EXPE > $BKNG • $LYFT > $UBER What it implies: That breadth + beta has been improving, perhaps in anticipation of rate cuts and overall healthier economy than anticipated. Likely keeps the bull run going for now. Charts below

Going thru Circle's $CRCL S-1. First pass, it seems Coinbase $COIN is best levered to Circle's $CRCL growth. USDC avg circulation grew +9% y/y in 2024, revenues grew +16%, but profits went down -42%. Mainly because payments to $COIN grew +31%. More and more USDC is held on Coinbase's platform, on which they get a "distribution fee" (18% of total supply vs. 8% in 2023, and vs. Circle's 2%). (The Aug 2023 contract renegotiation helped too. Also assumes continued preference holding USDC on Coinbase's platform). https://t.co/yoWLFOJg3X
