Monster print by $REAL. Best Idea Long. We went long at $1 with a call for a $20 stock. Admittedly, this quarter was concerning me. If I was running a book I'd have peeled some off heading into this one. That would have been the wrong move. Lo and behold, it annihilated numbers and guided up materially. @KeithMcCullough -- score another one for The Signal.
Pumped about this Well upgrade of $REAL. We've been long and strong this one since a buck. Don't need to rethink my thesis until it's over $10. Quad 2 will likely take it there...It's got the hot hand right now.
Is anybody looking at $REAL NOLs? I bet $EBAY is. EBAY has failed in luxury authentication. It NEEDS REAL. They could use $2/share in realized NOLs with the stock trading at $3. Maybe they buy this when it's a $10 stock, but at $3 it's a slam dunk.
$REAL CEO gets an A+ for executing on the model. But a D- for communicating on last night's call. The reality is that supply growth -- THE KEY to GMV/Cash Flow -- is ACCELERATING. Stock getting tagged today in a Quad4 tape on a sloppy guide. But this story 100% on track.
This $REAL quarter was on rails. Co beat across the board. We went long at a buck. Now it's $3.50. Won't declare victory until it's over $10.
